Srinagar: As the protest of National Health Mission (NHM) employees entered into eighth day Wednesday, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir met the protesters here at Srinagar’s Press Enclave and assured them that their demands will be conveyed to Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti.
The NHM employees are on pen down strike from past eight days to press for their demand of regularization.
The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan along with Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Farooq Ahmad Lone reached press enclave and met protesting employees.
He asked the protesting employees to resume their duties and make a memorandum of demands. “The absence of employees from the hospitals has caused immense hardships to the patients,” he told protesters.
Khan asked the protesters to submit a memorandum to him so that he can submit that to the Chief Minster. KNS
