‘When mothers fight on battlefields, then tyranny has to end’

SRINAGAR: Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) on Monday asked New Delhi to withdraw its forces from Jammu Kashmir as “people and mujahideen are fighting together against India”.
In a statement issued here, a spokesman of the outfit Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting LeT chief Mehmood Shah said: “When even mothers fight on battlefields, then tyranny has to end. Mothers epitomize mercy and affection and no power in world can overpower their prayers.”
“I have no words to pay tributes to the people of Tral particularly the mother of Molvi Aquib. Her spirit and courage is writing on the wall for India.” Quoting Shah, the spokesman said “freedom is the destiny of the people of Kashmir which martyrs are writing with their pious blood”. “Whenever Muslims strived in the way of Allah, they have emerged victorious,” he added.
