Baramulla: A daylong awareness programme was organized in Baramulla by the state labour department to train a large number of manual workers, trade owners, salesmen and other sections of labour class.
Speaking on the occasion deputy labour commissioner Kashmir deliberated on the labour rights and stressed upon the need to disseminate awareness among the working class of the society. He emphasized upon every necessary measure that should be taken for their welfare. Moreover, it was said that working class including trade owners, manual workers and salesmen play an important role in the overall development of the society.
Assistant labour commissioner Baramulla Ashiq Hussain said labour class is the back bone of the economy and it is incumbent upon the government to take every initiative for their welfare. He stressed upon the trade owners for good conduct with their salesmen and said that they should not be deprived of their basic rights.
