SRINAGAR: JKLF (R) chairman Farooq Ahmad Dar has appreciated the Amnesty International’s report on human rights violations in Jammu & Kashmir and said that the report was strong evidence that Indian forces and state police used brute and disproportionate force against innocent people.
“It is an eye opener, and international community should come to the rescue of people in state,” Dar said. “We had time and again said that forces are involved in murder, loot plunder and ransacked properties worth billions. Though the authorities shamelessly denied any such event and their claims that forces are not involved in ransacking properties proved brazen lies,” said Dar.
He said the state administration was desperate to hide truth and, give clean chit to forces, saying they were not involved in these crimes. “They now stand exposed,” he said.
