Srinagar: Three persons sustained pellet injuries in Palhalan, Pattan after intense clashes between the government forces and protesters erupted in the area on Thursday.
Local sources told Kashmir Reader that three injured persons have been shifted to some hospital who had pellet injuries.
They added that ambulances are being seen rushing towards the area which is an indication that some more people are injured there.
As reported earlier, that soon after forces reached Tantrapora, in Palhalan, and started cordoning the area, hundreds of locals came on streets and raising anti-India and pro-freedom slogans pelted stones on them.
The forces retaliated by using tear gas shelling and aerial firing, they said.
Clashes were going on when reports last came in.
