Srinagar: Life returned to normal in Srinagar on Sunday after three days of shutdown and restrictions.
Joint resistance leadership had called for a three days shutdown in connection with the death anniversaries of parliament attack convict Afzal Guru and JKLF founder Maqbool Bhat.
Guru and Bhat were hanged and buried in Tehar jail Delhi on Feb 9, 2013 and Feb 11, 1984 respectively.
Sources said that the curfew-like restrictions, imposed in the Srinagar parts for the past three days, were lifted this morning.
People have also resumed their normal business in north Kashmir as well however situation remained tense in south Kashmir parts after the killing of four militants and a civilian in Frisal, Yaripora area Kulgam district.
