Bandipora: The army on Friday said that it engaged “renowned molvis” in Sumbal area to develop positive mindset in local youth in order to encourage them to live a peaceful life. The Army’s 9Jawan Club in Sumbal had organized a “motivational workshop” for the local youngsters. In a statement, the army claimed that around 400 local youngsters took part in the workshop.
The workshop was held on Wednesday for the youngsters of Hajin and Sonawari areas.
“The day commenced with motivational talks by renowned molvis of the area and prominent civil dignitaries,” the army said adding the molvis counseled the youth to develop positive mindset and work hard to pursue their goals and lead a peaceful life. “The youth were given information about the plethora of opportunities in varied fields of education, sports and other professional courses across the country. A registration cell was also set up to facilitate the enrolment in upcoming army recruitment rally and various other jobs and competitive exams for the unemployed youth, the statement said.
