Jammu: Ruckus was witnessed in the legislative assembly Friday over the post snow situation in Kashmir where heavy snowfall has affected the normal life.
Opposition legislators sought immediate relief to the people affected by the snowfall and demanded immediate restoration of the electricity and water.
Responding to the opposition uproar, parliamentary affairs minister, Abdul Rehman Veeri assured the members that the government agencies were on job and busy restoring the routine. He listed areas where snow cutters are operational. He said certain areas may take a bit of more time on the electricity resumption issue.
