World community duty bound to provide justice to Kashmiris: Joint resistance

SRINAGAR: The joint resistance leaders Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and Muhammad Yassin Malik on Wednesday thanked the people of Handwara for observing shutdown against the “brutal and cruel act of army” and demanded impartial investigation into the massacre.
In a statement issued here, the leaders said during last 27 years, Indian forces “brutally” killed thousands of innocents and demanded impartial investigation into the massacre so that the involved persons are held accountable.
“It becomes the responsibility of the world community to come forward and discharge their duties in providing justice to the unarmed and innocent Kashmiris,” they said.
