Sacrifices won’t go waste, says Geelani

Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani has paid tribute to three slain youth saying Kashmiris were indebted to them and their sacrifices won’t go waste.
According to a statement, Geelani in his telephonic message to mourners said that stubborn attitude of India is the main cause for continuous bloodshed in the state and the root cause of uncertainty in the sub-continent. “I am sure and confident that we will achieve our cherished goal. Those who lay their precious lives for a sacred cause never die and their memories serve a source of inspirations for next generations,” he was quoting as saying in the statement.
Geelani said that people were indebted to “these martyrs and obliged to follow their mission with, zeal and sincerity.”
“The nation has presented unparalleled services and sacrifices and we are duty bound to safeguard these and remain vigilant and cautious about the sinister designs of puppets and stooges,” Geelani said.
