7 KAS officers shifted
SRINAGAR: Kumar Rajeev Ranjan was posted Director, School Education Kashmir as the state government on Thursday also ordered transfer of seven KAS officers with immediate effect.
Ranjan, a 2010 IAS batch officer, was previously Additional Secretary Tribal Affairs Department and he replaced Aijaz Ahmad Bhat (KAS) who has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Relief and Rehabilitation Department.
According to a government order, Bashir Ahmad Khan (KAS), Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla has been transferred and posted as Joint Director, Industries and Commerce (Development), Srinagar, against an available vacancy.
Angrez Singh Rana (KAS), Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, against an available vacancy.
Nazir Ahmad Baba (KAS), Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla.
Shabir Hussain Bhat (KAS), Additional Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, has been transferred and posted as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Kupwara, relieving Abdul Hafiz Shah ADC Kupwara of the additional charge.
Sher Singh (KAS), Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Mendhar, promoted to the Selection Grade, in his own pay and grade on 27 October last year has been transferred and shall await further orders of posting in the General Administration Department, the order added.
According to a separate government order, Mohammad Saleem Shishgar (KAS), Secretary Information Technology and Technical Education Departments has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the Planning, Development and Monitoring Department.
Raj Kumar Goyal (IAS), Principal Secretary to the Government Home Department has been asked to hold the additional charges of the Administrative Secretary, Information Technology and Technical Education Departments, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
