Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir: Kashmir Off Road in collaboration with J&K Tourism is going to organize, Frozen Rush, an Off-Road Snow Fest at Gulmarg on 22nd January
The event aims to introduce and promote off-road activities as a part of snow adventure tourism in the region.
Giving details about Kashmir Off Road Fest, Sajid Ali, owner/ founder Kashmir Off Road said –“We are Kashmir’s first Off-Road and 4×4 adventure outfit based in Srinagar with an aim to introduce, organize and promote off-road activities for 4×4 vehicles in Kashmir..”
Ali said “The whole idea of organising this event is to build a local motor-sporting community in the region and lay foundation for organizing future national motor-sporting and off-road events in Kashmi.,”
“For this event, we have invited National Rally champion, Amanpreet Ahluwalia, who has numerous rally accolades to his name and is a prominent personality in the current Indian Rally scene. Though Ahluwalia won’t be competing in the event but will oversee track preparation and other event technicalities”, he aded..

The collaboration will not only create Kashmir as a destination for motorsport, off-road events, but also reinforce trust and confidence amongst tourists and adventure aficionados visiting the region.” said Farah Zaidi, co-founder Kashmir Off Road.
“I am quite optimistic to be a part of this Off-Road Snow Fest. The sheer excitement of driving on snow and the thrill associated with it in itself is adrenaline-charged. This could be a jumpstart for future snow autocross events in India and hold great potential amongst rally enthusiasts.” – expressed Ahluwalia
The event shall be held on specially prepared snow track/circuit at Gulamrg which would be 1.5kms. The event shall be held under guided supervision. The races shall be timed and top 5 winners announced based on fastest timings.
The event is aimed at both novice to expert drivers and we encourage enthusiasts to participate.
