Nawaz praises Burhan, calls him ‘martyr’

Srinagar: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Thursday praised slain militant commander, Burhan Wani and reiterated his condemnation of Indian “repression” in Kashmir.
The Fresh Pak remarks are likely to re-ignite tensions between the nuclear-armed rivals.
AS per reports addressing a Kashmir conference held in Pak capital Islamabad, Sharif referred to 22-year-old Burhan Wani, whose killing in July sparked months of uprising, as a “martyr.”
At least 90 people have been killed since then in clashes between government forces and protesters.
