CJ nominates vacation judges, to hear cases from Jan 9
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court will remain closed for the winter vacation with effect from January 2 to 25. court’s Registrar General, Ashok Kumar said in an order here.
He said that the period commencing from 2 to 7 January is ‘No Work Period’ for the High Court.
The Chief Justice also nominated vacation Judges for both the wings of the High Court to hear all matters of an urgent nature from January 9.
For Srinagar wing, Justice Tashi Rabstan will hear the cases from 9 to 16 of January while Justice BS Walia will hear the matters in second Spell from 17 to 25 January.
Similarly for Jammu wing, Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey will hear the cases from 9 to 16 January and Justice Janak Raj Kotwal from 17 to 25 January.
