Srinagar: Minister of State for Health & Medical Education and Urban Development, Asiea Naqash on Wednesday conducted extensive tour of Srinagar city to take stock of various ongoing developmental projects.
The Minister inspected dumping site at Achan Eidgah and took stock of the pace of the work carried out for its upgradation. She asked the concerned to expedite upgradation and incorporate latest technology in the project, adding that Rs 6.40 crore worth segregate waste management project is of great importance.
Later, the Minister visited, Pindichi Mandi Bemina and inspected the commercial shopping complex comprising 312 shops at ground floor which have been already allotted and 312 more shops at first floor which are yet to be allotted. The Minister directed the concerned to complete the allotment process of these shops at an earliest.
Asiea also visited shopping complex at Batamaloo and directed the concerned to start the allotment process of 101 shops there among the deserving persons.
Deputy Commissioner Srinagar/ Commissioner SMC, Joint Commissioner SMC and other concerned were accompanying the Minister during her tour.
