Srinagar: The employees of SMHS hospital on Friday held a protest against the government forces attack on health employees in Kashmir during the ongoing uprising.
The employees assembled at the entrance of the hospital and staged sit-in against the “murderous attack” on an ambulance driver in Safakadal. The health department’s driver who was ferrying patients from Kangan to Srinagar hospital was shot at by the CRPF at Safakadal. “Our hospital vehicles are being stopped in the morning by the forces and we have to face abuses everyday. Even doctors are not spared here,” said the group of employees while seeking action against the forces.
