Srinagar: Stating that the debates in the Indian parliament and “expressing of concern” over the current situation in the valley by the parliamentarians was nothing but drama, chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, on Wednesday said that the present anti-India movement will continue until India accepts Jammu and Kashmir as a disputed territory.
“We have nothing to do with these so-called debates held for hours in the Indian parliament. Everyone in these debates is trying to express solidarity with Kashmiris but it is all drama enacted to achieve political mileage,” Andrabi said in a statement.
She said that Kashmiris and their leadership are clear and united over the fact the present movement will continue until India accepts and acknowledges JK as a disputed territory. “The people are up against India under a single slogan and a single flag (Pakistani flag) and have decided that they will take this movement to its logical conclusion,” she added.
“Rest, the dramas enacted by the politicians in Indian parliament are nothing but gimmicks and are only meant to score political points. They aren’t concerned about the people of Kashmir,” she added.
Further, Andrabi said summoning the Pakistani envoy, Dr Abdul Basit, to express its “protest” after arresting one Bahadur Ali (arrested recently in Kupwara) and labeling him as a Lashkar-e-Tioba operative was a childish act and fake story concocted by India.
