PDP’s political ‘renegades’ preferred to be behave like loyal servants, says Rashid

Srinagar: MLA Langate Engineer Rashid has expressed disappointment on Sunday over Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s visit to Kashmir alleging that unfortunately government of India is yet again trying to give the impression that whatsoever is happening in the state is a “law and order” problem.

In a statement, Rashid said that whatsoever Singh spoke in Kashmir is enough to conclude that he visited Kashmir like a landlord and wanted to give directives of his choice to Kashmiri leaders and Kashmiri youth. He also condemned the “so-called mainstream” political parties for not calling spade a spade and said that those who met him preferred to be as usual “confused, apologetic and unrealistic”.
“Rather than playing with the words Omar Abdullah and others should have told him loud and clear that whole J&K is a disputed territory and India has a history of broken promises. Similarly PDP delegation of political renegades rather telling Rajnath Singh about real issues preferred to be behave like loyal servants. Even Mehbooba Mufti didn’t allowed this opportunity to go waste in abusing and accusing Pakistan,” he said.
