Vegetables wholesalers directed to conclude business by 6:30 am

SRINAGAR: The wholesale vegetable dealers at Iqbal Sabzi Mandi Batamaloo here have decided to confiscate stocks of the dealers who indulge in trading beyond 6.30 am.
The Kashmir Vegetable Dealers Association has communicated the decision to its members through the posters posted on the walls in the Mandi.
As per the communiqué, the decision was made in the meeting presided over by Abdul Majid Bangroo.
“Any dealer found violating this order would be responsible for the consequences himself,” it said.
This market, frequented by vegetable retailers and hawkers, normally operates after Fajar prayers and the trade closes by 11 am.
