APM passes resolution sans National Conference

Srinagar: The five-hour long All party meeting called by chief minister Mehbooba Mufti to discuss current situation in Kashmir ended with passing of a resolution. While National Conference boycotted the meeting but congress and one-man parties participated in the meeting.
Government spokesperson and education minister Naeem Akhtar said the meeting discussed threadbare how to stop recurrence of such situations after every 3-4 years. He said the meeting expressed grief over the civilian killings that followed the death of Hizb commander Burhan Wani. The meeting also called for restraint from all sides while calling for “inclusive” engagement of stakeholders for peace and reconciliation.
However, Mehbooba evaded media and left the venue.
