SRINAGAR: Chairperson Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) Syeda Aasiya Andrabi on Friday urged the government of Pakistan to call back its ambassador in India as a token of protest over latter’s “oppression” in Kashmir.
Talking to Kashmir Reader on phone, Andrabi said Pakistan must direct its ambassadors across the world to protest the Indian “atrocities” in Kashmir. She also appealed the Pakistani government to “unite the nation over its Kashmir policy” during the upcoming Parliament session and take effective steps in this regard.
The DeM chief said Kashmiris’ freedom movement is indigenous and people would continue their struggle till it reaches its logical conclusion.
She also condemned the killing of a youth Mushtaq Ahmed in Kupwara.
