Srinagar: Chairperson of Dukhataran-e-Millat, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, on Monday welcomed the statement of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Nawaz Sharif and Pak Foreign Office in which India was urged to hold plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir.
She also called for a complete shutdown and protests on July 12 and urged people to march towards Martyrs’ Graveyard at Naqshband Sahib Mazar-e-Shuhda in Nowhatta on July 13.
“The statements by Mian Nawaz Sharif and the Pak Foreign office are timely because we believe that our movement is for merger Kashmir with Pakistan. It is our wish and was the mission of Shaheed Burhan Muzaffar Wani who left us, without completing this task,” she said.
She urged the Government of Pakistan to highlight the brutality unleashed by Indian forces against innocent civilians at International forums. “Use your diplomatic channels and tell the world what is happening in Kashmir. Muslims are being massacred, there property is being damaged by the occupational forces; the world needs to know it and Pakistan has the responsibility to tell them,” she added
She further said that allegation of youth attacking ambulances is actually propaganda by Indian authorities and its puppets aimed at maligning the Kashmir’s resistance movement.
She also asked people to remain vigilant against the pro-India political workers. “These people are trying to trying to misuse the cause of resistance movement to fulfill their nefarious agendas. Don’t let them interfere or give them space to harm the present movement,” she added.
