Srinagar: Terming the killing of Hizb commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani and his associates as painful, United Jihad Council (UJC)on Saturday paid rich tributes to the three militants killed in Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.
In a statement issued to KNS, UJC chief Syed Salah-ud-din while addressing a high level meeting said that “Burhan not only gave sleepless nights to eight lakh force personnel’s but also gave a new charter of life to Kashmir freedom struggle.”
While terming the killing of Burhan and other militants as Painful, he said, “There won’t be any negative impact on the ongoing Kashmir struggle due to the death of Burhan Wani who defeated the death on various occasions.”
He said that “under Hizb banner, Burhan produced thousands of Burhan’s, his every drop of blood will give birth to thousands and lakhs of Burhan.”
Meanwhile, UJC chief also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and thanked people of Kashmir for showing their love towards the militants. “The sacrifices given by the militants won’t go waste,” he assured.
UJC’s deputy chief, Amar Saif-ullah Khalid, Taj Ali Shah and Secretary of UJC Sheikh Jameel-ur-Rehman and others also paid tributes to Burhan and his assoiciates killed in Kokernag encounter on Friday.
