Mirwaiz threatens public agitation against controversial issues

Srinagar: Chairman Hurriyat Conference Mirwaiz Umer Farooq has threatened to launch a massive public agitation against Jammu and Kashmir government if it did not come clear on issues of granting separate Pandit township, Sainik colony for retired soldiers and on controversial industrial policy.

“All these policies are anti-Kashmir and pro-India. The united Azadi leadership would fight tooth and nail to oppose these polices. We cannot take government’s statement about these issues at face value,” said Mirwaiz while delivering his Jumat-ul-vida sermon at Srinagar’s historic Jamia Masjid.
