SRINAGAR: Two Entrepreneur Development Centres for Women will be set up at Jammu and Srinagar to help, guide and train aspiring women entrepreneurs.
This was disclosed by Minister for Finance, Dr. Haseeb A. Drabu on Monday while presenting the Annual Budget 2016-2017 in the State Legislative Assembly.
The Minister proposed that 10 per cent area in all industrial estates of the state shall be reserved for women entrepreneurs. The Industries and Commerce department will notify the additions.
The minister also proposed of setting up of more police stations for women in the state. An additional amount of Rs. 5 crore is also earmarked for a dedicated city bus service for women.
