Mir pays tributes to Kunzar martyrs

Srinagar: Senior APHC leader and Chairman JKLF has paid glowing tributes to the two Kashmiri youth Mehraj Ahmad Bhat of Andargam Pattan and Adil Ahmad of Brat Sopore who were martyred during a gunfight with the government forces at Kunzar Tangmarg.

He said the Kashmiri nation is indebted to the sacrifices of these great martyrs and “no one will be allowed to play with these sacrifices”.

Javaid Mir said Kashmiris are offering sacrifices since decades and “the best tribute to martyrs is to exhibit commitment towards the freedom struggle to take their mission to its logical conclusion, adding, their sacrifices are priceless asset of the freedom struggle.”

“The delaying tactics cannot force Kashmiris to backtrack from their legitimate struggle and if Kashmir issue remains unresolved, the peace and stability in the region cannot be guaranteed,” he said.

Javaid Mir said the world cannot turn away its eyes from Kashmir issue and its people’s legitimate struggle for right to self-determination for long but has to resolve it according to the wishes and aspirations of its people.

He said remembering these martyrs rejuvenates our pro-freedom spirit and strengthens our relation with martyrs saying the path of freedom is always filled with thorns and hardships.
