SRINAGAR: The Meteorological department on Saturday forecasted light rains and thundershowers over the state during the next 24 hours.
According to the weather department, the skies in Srinagar are likely to remain partly cloudy on Sunday with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to hover around 30 degrees and 15 degrees celsius respectively.
On Saturday, the maximum temperature in the city was recorded at 29.7 degrees celsius, four notches above normal while as the minimum temperature was settled at 14.7 degrees celsius, three notches above the season’s average.
At 5:30 pm, the humidity level was settled at 33 percent.
Further, the weathermen have predicted isolated to scattered rain and thundershowers in the state in its weather outlook for subsequent two days.
