Srinagar: Food-lovers here have a chance to relish the Old Delhi’s Nawabi delight, as 7C’s restaurant is organising a food festival where Kababs and Biryani will be a treat from the royal menu.
In the cozy environs of the Sangarmal City Centre, the 7’Cs Café and Fine Dine is giving final touch to preparations for hosting the Nawabi delight from Friday (May 27).
The chef Haji Javed of Jamia Masjid, Old Delhi, would plate the finger-licking delicacies particularly succulent, juicy kebabs and aromatic Biryani in a variety of Nawabi flavors like Awadhi, Hyderabadi and Lahori, a statement issued here on Wednesday said.
“In keeping up with our belief in offering something unique to Kashmir, and humbled by the overwhelming response of valued customers at the previous years of Biryani and Kebab festivals, our valued guests can treat themselves to a royal menu this summer at the 7c’s Fine Dine & Café,” the hosts said adding that “the age-old recipes blended with exotic spices are sure to recreate the splendour of the Nawabi cuisine.”
The menu for the food festival comprises — Hyderabadi, Dampukht and Lucknavi Biryani, Mutton Kakori Kebab, Mutton Galoti Kebab, and Mutton Seekh Kebab Delhi Style, besides Chicken Korma.
“Insha’Allah, we look ahead to make the festival memorable for our customers,” said a chef at 7C’s. “Only specially-grinded spices will be used in the cuisine, while special surprise offers will be in place for the valued customers,” he added.
Speaking about the festival, Sheikh Feroz Ahmed, CEO of Akhudam Group, said: “We had been getting a lot of demand from guests to organize various festivals like this. The feedback we are receiving is great and we hope to host more such events in the future like Ramadhan Special fest and Chinese food fest”.
He added; “Our guests will take away an unforgettable experience. We are sure, we will have their appreciation,” hopes Feroz.
