Srinagar: Continuing his efforts to build unity among various organisations for a united protest programme against several policies initiated by New Delhi and the state government, JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik on Tuesday met the chief of the Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC), Abdul Qayoom Wani.
Other EJAC leaders present at the meeting, which took place at the office of EJAC, were Farooq Ahmad Trali, Fayaz Shabnum, Farooq Ahmad Khan, Shabir Ahmad Langoo, Khurshid Ahmad Butt, and Muhammad Lateef. JKLF leaders Bashir Ahmad Butt, Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Noor Muhammad Kalwal and Muhammad Yasin Butt attended the meeting.
The leaders discussed the government’s “conspiratorial plots to establish separate colonies for ex-servicemen, Pandits, and homeless outsiders, East India Company-type industrial policy, oppression unleashed on Jammu Muslims, and imposition of NEET”.
They said that these “plots were meant to inflict harm on Kashmiris and to serve the interests of India” and agreed to resist these “plots with unity and steadfastness”.
