SRM Welkin school organises cross country run

SOPORE: Shah Rasool Memorial Welkin School Sopore Saturday organised its Annual Cross Country Run.
The race was flagged off by Superintendent of police Sopore Harmeet Singh and DSP Ashish Mishra was also present on the occasion.
The run was held in two phases in the first phase the students from 1st to 6th standard took part and in the second phase students of middle secondary  and higher secondary departments were made to run from fruit mandi Sopore to SRM Welkin School.
The race for junior level started from Super Market and culminated at school campus and for senior students the race started from fruit Mandi Sopore to SRM Welkin School.
A huge number of spectators that included the local people ‚ parents of the students and other were present near the venue of the race.
Members of the civil society and school management were present to encourage students.
The chairperson of SRM Welkin’ school Baseema Hajni thanked all the students their parents and the members of civil Society for their cooperation in making this grand event possible.
