SRINAGAR: The state of Jammu and Kashmir is likely to receive isolated rainfall at few places during the next 24 hours, according to Meteorological Centre, Srinagar.
“There is possibility of light rains and thundershowers at isolated places in Kashmir division whereas Jammu division is expected to be mostly dry,” the weather department predicted.
The maximum temperature, according to officials, is also expected to show a slight fall in the state by few notches.
On Monday, the maximum temperature in Srinagar is expected to hover around 28 degrees celsius while as in Jammu the mercury is expected to rise up to 39 degrees celsius.
The maximum temperatures on Sunday in Srinagar and Jammu were settled at 30.7 degrees, 6 notches above normal and 40.6 degrees celsius, 3 notches above normal respectively.
The humidity levels in the two regions oscillated between 38 and 09 percent respectively.
