N A Beigh resigns as Sr AAG

Srinagar: Advocate N A Beigh on Thursday resigned from post of senior Additional Advocate General in ruling PDP-BJP government.
Beigh was appointed as the senior AAG in February during governor’s rule to represent the State in the High Court.
Confirming his resignation, Beigh told Kashmir Reader that his decision was completely “personal” and nobody asked him to step down.
“I have forward the resignation to the law department,” said Beigh who was appointed vide a notification (705-LD(A) of 2016) on February 23 by the state’s law department.
