SRINAGAR: Chairman Islamic Political Party JK Mohammad Yousuf Naqash on Friday said the ‘forced’ occupation of Jammu Kashmir is the main cause of all the troubles in the state.
In a statement issued here, Naqash said the controversies like setting up of Sainik colonies, separate clusters for Kashmiri Pandits, settlement of refugees, Industrial Policy, and debates over Article 370 are basically the incitements.
“Such conspiracies are hatched by India to strengthen its occupation on Jammu Kashmir and to break our resolve and determination for freedom,” he said.
“The need of the hour is to launch a proactive resistance against such moves. As such, a long-term policy needs to be evolved in consultation with all the stakeholders including Pakistan which supports our struggle,” the Hurriyat leader said.
