Ramban: Ten indian tourists injured in road mishap

RAMBAN:: at least ten persons were injured on Thursaday after a vehicle plunged into deep gorge on Srinagar-Jammu national highway at Nashri area of Ramban district .
The Vehicle bearing registration number JK14-1871 was on way to Srinagar from Jammu when the vehicle met with an accident near Nashri in Ramban and fell into 200 feet deep gorge at Nashri Nallah near lucky Dhaba Chanderkote.Police said
The injured persons were identified as Suraj Bhaye wife of Dhani Ram, Djani Ram son of Dharmu ,Sonu son of Kasturi Lal ,Kamli wife of Modi Ram ,Geeli wife of Bitu ,Soni Devi wife of Geeli Ram , Jeelan daughter of Geeli Ram all resident of Pali Chatarpur Madhya Pradesh , Shiv Kumar son of Omparkash ,Ravinder Kumar son of Gharu Ram & Kasturi son of Dharmu all resident of Kangra Madhya Pradesh.
All the injured persons were shifted to SKEH Hospital Batote by police and locals.
The driver of vehicle managed to flee from the spot.Said a police officer
A case has been registered in Police station Chanderkote and investigation has been started.he said
