Two youths arrested along with Cannabis

Pampore: One person died on spot after being hit by a speedy truck at Wuyan Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wedneday evening, police said.
45-years-old Bashir Ahmad Ganaie son of Abdul Samad resident of Wuyan Balla died on spot after being hit by a speedy truck bearing registration number JK13-1770 at Wuyan village of  Pampore on Wedneday evening.
Police station Pampore has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, Pampore police on Wednesday evening launched a masive search operation near Enterpeneurship Development Institute (EDI) Pampore and apprehended two youths identified as Junaid Ahmad Khan son of Abdul Masjid resident of Zafron Colony and Jan Mohammad Sofi son of Mohammad Yaseen Sofi resident of Pantha Chowk and recovered about 10 gms of Cannabis and a Cigar from their possession, SHO Manzoor Ahmad Beigh told Kashmir Reader.
A case under FIR no.106/16 u/s 8/20 NDPS has been registered in this regard.
