Kashmir Map issue: Dukhtaran rejects India’s ‘illegal policies’ in JK

SRINAGAR: Dukhatarn-e-Millat chairperson, Syeda Asiyeh Andrabi, on Wednesday said India’s proposed “illegal” draft bill—that imposes heavy fines and imprisonment for not showing Kashmir as part of its map—cannot deter the people of Kashmir from struggling against the Indian rule.
She categorically rejected the claims made by Indian External Affairs ministry spokesperson, Vikas Swaroop, that Jammu and Kashmir was an integral part of India.
In a statement issued here, Andrabi also hailed Pakistan’s timely intervention in this regard at the UN.
“Pakistan’s timely intervention at the UN exposing Indian lies and its illegal policies in JK is a welcome step. By all means, this Indian conspiracy is against the international law as the world knows that JK is a disputed territory. India’s lies can’t change the status of this land,” she said.
