India, Pak armies trade fire in Uri

Baramulla: The armies of India and Pakistan exchanged fire in Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district late on Monday evening.
Police officials said on Tuesday that firing started between 6:30 to 7pm Monday in Kamalkot area along the Line of Control.
“The forces used heavy machine and motor guns to target each other. But there are no reports of any casualty,” he said.
The residents of Kamalkot said they couldn’t sleep the whole night due to the fear caused by the firing.
No reports of any fresh exchange of fire were received on Tuesday.
