SRINAGAR: Minister of State for Health & Medical Education, Housing & Urban Development and Social Welfare Ms Asiea Naqash today said that HUNAR scheme launched by late chief minister, Mufti Muhammad Sayeed, would be implemented soon across the State.
Speaking at certificate distribution function at Habitat Centre, Urban Development Agency Kashmir (UDAK), Naqash said that skilled unemployed youth would be imparted skill based trainings and department would help them in launching their businesses through marketing. She said them that former chief minister, Mufti Muhammad Sayeed, already sanctioned the HUNAR scheme which will be implemented soon.
She urged youth come forward and avail such schemes which would help them in earning their livelihood. She said that various government launched schemes would be reviewed to make sure that they reach to the genuine stakeholders.
The minister said that under HUNAR scheme the beneficiaries would be financed, trained for marketing and other areas.
On the occasion, the minister gave away certificate to the participants of self-help groups. The Minister congratulated them for their keen interest in making them self employed by completion of their courses.
