Mirwaiz condoles demise of Prof.Bhat’s sister, Altaf Mattoo

Srinagar: Expressing sympathy and condolence over the demise of the younger sister of APHC Executive Committee member and former APHC Chairman, Prof. Abdul Gani Bhat and wife of Prof. Muzaffar Ahmad War of Warpora Sopore, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman, Mirwaiz Dr. Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq Monday has prayed for the peace of the departed soul and solidarity with Prof Bhat and others members of the bereaved family.
An APHC delegation comprising of Muhammad Musadiq Adil, Mukthar Ahmad Waza, Advocate Abdul Majeed Banday, Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam, Javaid Ahmad Mir and Mir Imran visited the residence of the deceased at Warpora, Sopore and expressed sympathies with Prof. Bhat, Prof. Muzaffar Ahmad War and other bereaved family members and offered Fateh Khawani for the departed soul.
Meanwhile, expressing deep sorrow over the demise of one of the prominent pro freedom leader, Altaf Ahmad Mattoo of Zaindar Mohalla, Srinagar, Mirwaiz extended condolences and sympathies with the bereaved family. In his condolence message, the APHC Chairman said the deceased’s contributions and sacrifices toward the ongoing resistance movement were exemplary.
Stressing that he had spent his entire life amid problems in order to fight for the just rights of the people, the Mirwaiz prayed to the Almighty Allah for granting the deceased a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and forbearance to the bereaved family.
Meanwhile senior Hurriyat leader Javaid Ahmad Mir participated in funeral prayers of the deceased.
