Srinagar: Residents of Srinagar woke up to a cool cloudy morning on Monday with the weathermen predicting light spells of rain or thundershowers at few places during the day.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 12.7 degrees celsius, one notch above the season’s normal and the relative humidity at 8:30 am was recorded at 76 per cent.
“The skies will remain partly cloudy on Monday. Scattered rainfall at few places could occur during the day,” the MeT officials said.
“The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 26 degrees celsius,” they said.
On Sunday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 24.9 degrees celsius and the minimum temperature had settled at 12.6 degrees celsius.
