Srinagar: People in the summer capital woke up to an overcast morning with the minimum temperature settling at 10.4 degrees celsius, a notch below the season’s average.
The MeT depaetment has forecasted light to moderate rain and thundershowers for the day.
“The skies are expected to be cloudy today and there will be thundery developments towards afternoon,” said a MeT official.
According to weather department, the maximum temperature on Saturday is expected to be 22.5 degrees celsius.
The amount of rainfall in Srinagar since yesterday evening till morning was recorded as 0.2 mm while the humidity level this morning was registered at 79 per cent.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 22.5 degrees celsius while the minimum temperature was settled at 10.2 degrees celsius.
