BARAMULLA: The District Development Board on Wednesday approved an annual plan out lay of Rs 231.36 crore for district Baramulla for the current financial year. This includes Rs 13.47 crore as regular schemes, Rs 23.44 crore as loan, Rs 177.99 crore capital share and Rs 16.44 crore as state share.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of minister for rural development, law, justice and panchayat raj Abdul Haq Khan.
The meeting reviewed the action taken report on the decisions of the last board meeting and took stock of sectoral, physical and financial achievements registered in the district plan 2015-16.

Addressing the meeting, the minister asked the district administration that no stone should be left unturned in realizing the goals and targets envisaged in annual plan so as to ensure maximum benefits to the people.
The minister directed the officers that the board decisions should be implemented in letter and spirit. He said that DDB act as institution of empowerment for people and there should be strengthened.
Earlier, DDC Baramulla Yasha Mugdal gave power point presentation of the previous year’s achievements and informed that Rs 125.91 crore has been utilized on various developmental schemes in the district during last fiscal. She also said that district administration will work with zeal and enthusiasm in achieving 100 percent targets for this financial year.
