Power Grid organises inter school debate competition

Jammu: As a part of its Swachh Bharat Pakhwada celebrations, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Northern Region-II, Jammu organised a debate competition at its regional head quarters here.
Statement issued by the grid said that the topic of the competition was “Swachh Bharat: Can we achieve mission of clean India by 2019?” Twelve schools across Jammu participated in the debate competition.
Anil Jain, executive director Powergrid Northern Region-II was the chief guest on this occasion. He thanked all participating schools for accepting the invitation to participate in the debate competition and called upon the children to ensure that cleanliness becomes our motto to bring about the desired change in India.
The schools that participated in this debate competition, as per the statement, were Army Public School Damana, Kendriya Vidalya No1, Gandhi Nagar , J K Public School , Jodhamal Public Shool, Army Public School Ratnuchak, St. Peter’s High School, , K.C. International School, Delhi Public School , BSF Sr. Sec School, Jammu Sanskriti School and Government High school Raipur Satwari.
