No joy for Valley team as Mohammaden SC beat LSKFC by a solitary goal

SRINAGAR: Mohammaden Sporting Club (MSC) Kolkata beat Lone Star Kashmir FC by a solitary goal in the I-League second division match played at TRC ground on Sunday.
Mohammaden Sporting Club gave exhibition of aggressive game coupled with solid defence. MSC had first success with their striker thumping the ball into the goal post to have their side in front in the 10th minute of the game and the decisive goal proved to be the difference in the game that witnessed either team messing up the good goal scoring opportunities with MSC Kolkata having upper hand in possession throughout the game.
MSC Kolkata had wood on the LSKFC side in the majority of the first half, but didn’t have many goals to show off their dominance.
Second half had LSKFC making urgency from both flanks, but MSC Kolkata defence was alert to any advances, making sure final scoreline was in their favour when the whistle blew for the last time in the game.
LSKFC will battle it out with Minerva FC Chandigarh on Tuesday at the same venue. The match will begin at 4:00pm.
