Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has paid glowing tributes to advocate Peerzada Iftikhar Ahmad of Pamposh Colony Chanapora on his martyrdom anniversary.
A JKLF statement issued here on Thursday said, “Our martyrs laid down their lives for the sacred cause of our freedom and it is our duty to safeguard their sacrifices.” “A JKLF delegation led by vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt visited Chanapora and paid glowing tributes to martyr advocate Iftikhar Ahmad,” the statement said. Butt was accompanied by secretary general JKLF Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi, deputy chief organizer Siraj ud din Mir, district president Budgam Gulzar Ahmad Pahalwan, Molvi Ramzan, Molvi Ab. Rashid etc.
Advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt on this occasion said that martyr advocate Iftikhar laid down his life for the freedom of Jammu Kashmir. “He was a gallant Mujahid and a true Muslim who showed no signs of fatigue during struggle and lay down his life in the way of Allah,” he said.
