Acclaimed Ulemas to deliver sermons at Jamia Masjid

Srinagar, May 05: Internationally-acclaimed Ulemas of the Islamic world and Islamic scholars from Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, who are on a Kashmir visit on the invite of Kashmiri youth, would deliver their addresses before the Friday congregation prayers at Jamia Masjid, Srinagar on May 6, 2016, a statement of the Anjuman-e-Auqaf Jamia Masjid Srinagar said Thursday.
The prominent Ulemas, Islamic scholars and Peace TV orators including Sheikh Hussain Yee, Dr. Shoaib, Sheikh Shams Fawad, Sheikh Wallilullah Abbas and Ishfaq Salafi, who are on the visit to Kashmir valley for religious propagation, would deliver their addresses before the Friday congregational prayers besides the Anjuman-e-Auqaf Jamia Masjid chief, Mirwaiz Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq.
These noted Ulemas and Islamic scholars during their sermons and addresses would delve on the benefits of following the great religion of Islam in this world and hereafter and also provide answers to the problems faced by the Ummah because of drifting from Islam and how to resolve them.
Appealing the people, particularly the youth, to come in large numbers and benefit from the wisdom of these Ulemas, Anjuman-e-Auqaf Jamia Masjid, the Mirwaiz said the historic Jamia Masjid of Srinagar has in the past too hosted internationally-acclaimed Ulemas and Islamic scholars but stressed that opportunities of listening to such Ulemas and Islamic scholars does not come on routine basis and as such people needed to take benefit of it and come in large numbers to listen to their addresses.
