Youth injured in accidental grenade blast

Baramulla: A 26-year-old youth was injured on Monday in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district when a hand grenade he found in a local drain exploded.
Riyaz Ahmad Khan, a resident of Kakarpati village of Dewar Lolab, found the explosive from a drain near the local bus terminal.
He was trying to check what it was when the grenade exploded.
He was shifted to Sub-District Hospital Kupwara where from the doctors referred him to SKIMS, Srinagar, for further treatment.
Police has registered a case.
