Srinagar: A warm and pleasant morning was observed in the summer capital on Monday with the minimum temperature settling at 10.5 degrees celsius, normal at this point of the season.
However, minimum temperature in Jammu was observed as 23.6 degrees celsius, one notch above the season, average.
Humidity levels in the morning in Srinagar and Jammu hovered around 55 and 29 percent respectively, according to the weather department.
The MeT department has predicted partly cloudy skies for Srinagar on Sunday whereas in Jammu division, according to officials, thundery developments could take place during evening hours.
Further, the maximum temperature in Srinagar today could be around 26 degrees celsius while as in Jammu the mercury is expected to reach 40 degrees celsius.
