SRINAGAR: Chairman National Front, Nayeem Ahmad Khan on Saturday said the killing of five unarmed civilians by government forces in Kupwara was an act of “revenge” for their pro-freedom stance. He also appealed the international community to “come to rescue of the oppressed Kashmiri people”.
In a statement issued here, Nayeem said, “Kashmiri people are victims of the so-called Indian national interest and Hindu fascism. The international community must take strong note of the recent civilian killings here.”
“Such incidents are intolerable for Kashmiris who will raise their voice against the inhuman crimes perpetrated by Indian forces and their collaborators,” he said.
