ANANTNAG: Six days after failing to get any clue into the mysterious disappearance of a three year old child, Ayan Hamid Shah, Anantnag police in an attempt to trace him out on Sunday issued a look out for the people.
Ayan went missing earlier on Tuesday, 22 March outside his relatives’ house from Pehru where he had gone with his mother. Following the massive protests in the area and shutdown in Anantnag town over his mysterious disappearance police launched massive searches to trace him out. Besides using marines to look for the missing child in a nearby stream police also roped in sniffer dogs but failed to get any clue. Three days later police registered kidnapping case into the matter. However after gain to get any leads police Sunday issued a look out notice for the public.
The look-out notice carrying picture of the missing boy issued by SSP Anantnag, reads: “Above shown boy Ayan Hamid Shah son of Abdul Hamid Shah of Shahabad Dooru is missing since 22 March from village Pehru Anantnag. Case FIR number 70 / 16 under section 363 RPC stands registered in police station Anantnag regarding the matter.”
“Please have sharp lookout, if traced out / any information contact Anantnag police on [email protected] or on following telephone numbers 9596777621, 9596777630, 01932222870,” notice further reads.
The notice gives the description of the missing boy as Age 3 years, height 2.5 inch, colour fair and wearing blue tract suit.
The helpless family of the missing boy has also announced 1 lakh rupees reward for the person who gives any information about the child.
“Whosoever provides information about Ayan he will be given 1 lakh rupees as reward and his identity will not be disclosed,” Ayans maternal uncle Manzoor Ahmad Bhat had told Kashmir Reader on Saturday.
Shattered over the disappearance of her beloved, Sami Jan, mother of Ayan has also intended to give all her jewelry as offering for his safety and homecoming.
